DUE TO ON GOING CUSTOMER DEMANDS AND REQUESTS, Konami have decided to release the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol.1 for the PLAYSTATION 4!
From what we can tell on the official website, The PS4 version (could possibly) only be a downloadable release, with no physical copy in the works, but this could change. Also, under release date, it says TBD. Hopefully, this doesn’t mean it will be delayed from the initial already announced release date of 10.24.2023.
Konami is LISTENING. This is only happening because fans wanted it and were vocal about it. This is such a smart move by them, making this collection even more accessible to even more gamers and fans alike. I’m sure there are a lot of people who haven’t yet purchased a PS5 who are grateful for this news. I think it would be even better if they decided on a physical release for the PS4 as well. Here is hoping they decided to do so
Eurogamer is also confirming the PS4 version WILL release at a later date. No official word from Konami yet though on how much later.
