Via IGN, Konami has confirmed MGS2/3 HD editions for the MGS Master Collection Vol.1 are indeed the BluePoint versions, but Konami has made various improvements to these, so its not a mere re-release of them. Konami’s statement below.
In their 2 hour preview they were only allowed to play the Nintendo Switch version of which IGN expressed concerns about performance issues and said the games appear to be running in 720p with texture downscaling apparent. Konami said they are still play testing the game and fixing bugs and performance issues.
