News come via some newly released footage of Metal Gear Solid 2 via the official Metal Gear Twitter account and Speed runner ApacheSmash. It appears Konami has been working on performance improvements with MGS2 and has restored the low delay of the original release of the Codec. Knock-on-wood. This could be good sign for things to come in regards to the Master Collection. Konami putting in fixes like this give me some confidence they are putting the proper care into these re-releases. Lets just hope we see more of this in the coming weeks and months.
