Hideo Kojima shared a teaser pic yesterday of the special 3DS unit Konami is readying for Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D’s hardware bundle. Kojima Productions followed up today with a pic showing the full system.

Further details, including price and information on how the item will be sold, will be announced on January 20.

(Speculation: The promise of details on how the system will be sold seems to suggest that, like the New Love Plus 3DS bundles, this will be limited to Konami Style. We’ll have to wait for the 20th for confirmation.)

cboxa already reported that Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D release date is now officially March 8th in Japan, but what was not noted was that this game is simply not a remaster of the original but a complete remake fully optimized for 3DS. This is fantastic news. Price, CERO rating is still pending.

Konami makes long awaited release date announcement at MGSHD press event. Konami has announced a final release date of March 8 for Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D, Famitsu.com reports. The announcement came at a press event commemorating the upcoming release of Metal Gear Solid HD Edition.
