SILICONERA translated excerpts of a recent interview Hideo Kojima had with Famitsu about Metal Gear Solid V’s open-world and online features, after an eventful week at E3 2013.

In the interview, he also spoke of his intent on taking on the rest of the world with Metal Gear Solid V and shared his thoughts on Western reactions of his latest announcement for the game.

Famitsu started the talks by asking Kojima to share his thoughts and reasons behind his recent global announcement of a “AAA” title.

Metal Gear Solid fans across the world had their eyes glued to the E3 coverage this week and Kojima Productions was in fine form giving us multiple trailers to analyze and discuss . Alice O’Connor of Shacknews reports:

There’s an unpleasant but not unexpected hole in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain’s platform lineup. The open-world stealth ‘em up is confirmed to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and… no, no PC. Or not yet, anyway, as series creator Hideo Kojima says even though a PC edition is not being worked on right now, it hopefully will come one day.

CVG just did a very interesting interview with Hideo Kojima about MGSV and E3. As a follow up to our last new post, he confirmed MGO and that it’s being handled by the LA studio. He also alludes to Solid Snake making an appearance in MGSV. In the timeline Solid Snake would be 12 years of age. Below are the snippets.
