It appears Metal Gear Survive which was slated for this year for release, is now coming to PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One in early 2018, Konami representatives confirmed today at E3.
Polygon reports: “According to Konami, Metal Gear Survive has been “pushed back a few months” to give the development team more time to polish the game.” “the game will feature a “dense single-player mode” in which players embark on a mysterious adventure”
Makes you wonder, considering this game using MGSV assets on an established internal game engine which Konami clearly knows how to utilize, and game itself originally announced in 2016, is Metal Gear Survive really that important to Konami or have other projects received a higher priority or attention internally. Who knows but hopefully we will be able to play Metal Gear Survive before next years E3.
Only time will tell.
