Konami Teams Up to Bring Eager Fans Branded Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Merchandise

Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc., today announced licensed merchandise across a variety of product categories for METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE, launching February 19, 2013 in North America. The branded merchandising will be available starting early this year online and at retailers nationwide, and includes the following products:

    Man, I love MG and MG merchandise as much as the next guy, but Rising already had way too much even before this post, for an action spin-off (including the first BIG expensive limited edition) while the REAL MGS game by Kojima have had nowhere near this level. And now we got even a crap ton more for Rising? Wow just wow. Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain/MGS5/MGSV better get this level of merchandise and limited edition treatment or I’ll be at least a little pissed. They have to know we’re WAY more excited for Ground Zeroes than we could ever be for Rising. I’ll eat my words if Rising turns out to have a super great quality story but that’s what it’s gonna have to take to justify all this merchandise for something that’s a little of an unknown (in regards to its success).
